Primer Review: Make Up For Ever HD Microperfecting Primer

After hearing and watching so many great reviews about Make Up For Ever's HD Microperfecting Primer ($32 USD), I caved in and bought it in 0 Netural (clear). I don't usually like using primer, and I had hoped this product would change my mind.

And boy, was I wrong. I've only ever used this product a total of three times, and I don't think there will be a fourth.

Right after application, my face feel any better to the touch. In fact--though it might be my imagination--it feels rougher.

Contrary to other positive reviews, it does quite the opposite for my skin. My makeup looks like I've had it on for two days. There's less oil, I'll give it that, but I'd rather blot my skin than have it looking haggard. I feel like it sucks the moisture out of my skin.

I don't know if I'm using it wrong or what, but this primer is not for me. I have oily skin with a few breakouts every now and then, so if you have the same skintype, maybe try it out in store before purchasing it.

Of course, it depends on the user, so don't be afraid to try it anyway. It might just work for you!
