A Quick Glance At 2012

As we approach a new year, it brings along feelings of nostalgia and also excitement. I really wish I'd blogged much more--after all, the main reason I launched this blog years ago is to have something to look back on and have little snapshots of things I'd accomplished and done.

Going off the top of my head right now, there are a few things that were really quite memorable that stand out in my mind when I think about the past year.

Lola turned three in April, and sadly, we didn't get to celebrate it. There's always next year! My little one is growing up so fast!

July was a big month where many things happened. I celebrated my 24th birthday (which turned out to be quite an epic night), quit my job at the insurance brokerage, got hired at the best place to work (Rogers!) and also went away on vacation to for three weeks. Four days of San Francisco with Patrick's family, then the rest of the three weeks with my family in Manila, Boracay, and Hong Kong. I also went to Disneyland for the first time! It was pretty darn magical.

August was when I started working at Rogers's beauty e-commerce website, eBeauty.ca. My first day there was the first day of the rest of my life. I feel truly blessed and privileged to work with the wonderful people I work with every day.

Patrick turned 24 in September, and November 1st was Patrick and I's 6-year anniversary, and we went to Niagara Falls for a weekend. I also went to New York City for the second time in November, where I got my first pair of Manolos!

December brought upon amazing opportunities, I am hoping to get a weekly column at one of the online publications I'm currently volunteering for, and I'm also moving towards working with a major company that has approached me to work with them! I truly am thankful for my readers--thank you for keeping me bookmarked. Oh and I also got my hair chopped off, and I love it. I think it must have been  six inches off?

I'm currently typing this on my MacBook that I scored on Boxing Day--at regular price (fail). But anyway, I have yet to get Photoshop on this so once I get that on here, I'll probably do a revamp!

I'm going to celebrate New Year's Eve with my family here at home (I'm not ready to break out of our tradition just yet!) and I hope that wherever you're celebrating yours that you will have an amazing time with lots of friends, family, and bubbly!

'Til next year..
