I had the opportunity to meet and interview designer Norman Noriega on the last day of Canada Philippine Fashion Week at Gotstyle in Toronto. Read on to find out more!
Tell us about this collection:
There's no particular inspiration, it's just a continuous evolution. I've been working for 10 years in the business. My clothes are always inspired by rock and roll. I prefer softer fabric. Always with a mix of rock and roll and edgy, like a black and white photograph. I don't usually choose colours, it's mostly grey, black and white.
How long does it take you to construct a piece?
It takes about a day.
What do you do when you're not designing?
Travelling. I like to travel.
Favourite Filipino food?
Pork adobo and sinigang.
Tell us about your experience in Toronto during CPFW?
It's my first time and I'm loving it! Everyone is so nice!
